A hand made, soap infused sponge from small business Glow, which makes washing and cleaning the body easy, quick and hopefully very enjoyable. Not only does this cleanse the skin but also moisturises it too. Only £3.00 for a sponge that will provide multiple washes.

Designer Fragrances Rouge Body Mist
Designer Fragrances is a brand well known for their ‘inspired by’ range of body sprays, mists, hand washes and other products for the body and the home. Included in their body mist products is Rouge. Simple, but nicely packaged, great size of 250ml and only £2.99 in Home Bargains.

What I Iove is the fact these designer fragrance inspired scents can be found in a variety of different products, not just the typical perfumes, body mists or body sprays. These are great gift ideas to give to someone who loves particular fragrances and perfect for everyday use because of their affordability. These three products aren’t expensive, very affordable with two you can grab from the high street and one online.

A fun alternative to a liquid hand wash in the form of a foaming one. Use in the same was as the traditional version, its just a different consistency. Jolly Holly Christmas Hand Wash is a seasonally fragranced product, scented with red apple, pear rhubarb, nectarine, cinnamon, caramelised sugar and vanilla.

Silver Sparkle Body Wash
This body wash looks and sounds special. Firstly, it literally sparkles, thanks to it shimmering with fine silver glitter/pigment. Secondly, the fragrance sounds very earthy and almost aromatherapy based which is lavender, lime, rosemary and eucalyptus. And thirdly, this product is part of Glow’sLotions and Potions sub range, which focuses on products being chemical free and more naturally based.

Spiced Cocoa Mint Gingerbread Sugar Scrub
Containing moisturising sweet almond oil and glycerin, this sugar scrub will make a welcome addition to my bathing routine this winter. It looks so inviting with it’s rich, creamy, almost dessert like texture, speckled with fine exfoliating pieces. The fragrance of Spiced Cocoa Mint Gingerbread intrigues me because this is quite a combination of seasonal scents, but will they work together?

Perfect partner to use alongside the scrub as they are in the same fragrance.

Cosy Blanket Room Spray
Room sprays are a form of home fragrance I’ve been using often over the last few months to provide a quick spritz of fragrance in rooms. Cosy Blanket Room Spray is a mix of vanilla, amber and citrus. So this should be a very comforting and warming fragrance.

Glow’s subscription boxes wouldn’t be a Glow subscription box without extras! The extras included in this months were a Christmas printed scarf, a brooch, a Christmas bell and individually wrapped chocolates and jelly beans.
First impressions?
This is a great mix of products for the bath, shower, body and even the home. Fragrances are very festive, all full sized products, products look really inviting in regards to textures and colours and the value of what I’ve received is exceptional! This subscription box cost £25.00 (including p&p) for 6 full sized products, which works out just over £4.00 each. All hand made and packaged with love and care.
Subscription boxes are limited in availability and once gone are gone, but all the products I’ve mentioned ARE available on Glow’s website here. Literally a one stop shop for all your body, bath and home fragrance needs.

First impressions?
These are good looking sets at great prices. The travel set is very attractively presented. The body spritz set I thought could have stood out more when it comes to the packaging but it still does the job. The fragrances and look of these products do have a resemblance to products in the Sol de Janerio brand, which isn’t hard to miss. Are these good dupes? Can’t answer that in regards to how these products perform compared to the ‘real’ counterparts. What I would say is expect some similarities e.g look and scents, but don’t expect exact copies.
Availabilty
As usual, who knows how soon all stores will get this range, how much stock will be available or how long these will last. But with Christmas around the corner, if these are Christmas gifts or stocking fillers you want, buy them sooner rather than later!
A fragrance and visual design which is very popular this time of year and for Christmas, is gingerbread. Not surprising. The scent is perfect for colder seasons with it being spice heavy and warming. It’s easy to forget about fragrancing the car if you drive (I do). So it’s great to see seasonal scents available rather than the typical ones available all year. This is quite an attractive looking air freshener and only £1.49.

Reed diffusers are a great home fragrance alternative to a candle or wax melt, and Candy Cane Gingerbread Reed Diffuser looks well made, great size of fragrance (100ml), and like all the other products I’ve seen well packaged to give as a gift. £2.99.

This possibly could be a new gift set for this year as I haven’t seen it before. But included in this is a reed diffuser (100ml) and a candle (125g). It’s a shame the box doesn’t have a similar colourway as the items inside it, in my opinion, but does look festive. £3.99.

Both the wax melts and the small jar candles are always popular. I’m not surprised because they both smell so good with a good strength to them both. I’ve used the wax melts and find these are really good, especially for only 79p. The jar candles are only 99p so equally just as cheap!
