The skincare world can get a little weird! There’s lots of interesting and imaginative products and formulations on the market that can make a normal skincare user raise their eyebrow. One that has been around for years but still makes people question, is skincare that contains snail mucin extract (yes, I said snail!). Budget skincare brand Face Facts has their snail mucin skincare range available in B&M. So what’s available?

Firstly…what is this snail mucin about?
Snail mucin has been an ingredient of some skincare products for quite a while. As the name gives away, it’s mucus secreted from snails. Benefits? It can provide hydration, calming to the skin, can help improve the look and feel to the skin, help reduce lines and wrinkles, the list goes on!

Each product costs £3.99 but currently on a multibuy which is 2 for £7.00. The prices of the products is very affordable, and the sizes are standard, although the moisturiser is great value as its 100ml in size not the standard 50ml.
Would I buy this?
I haven’t noticed fragrance in any of the ingredients lists of these products, which I do try to avoid. So would I try any of these? I think I would happily try all of them! The cleanser sounds really refreshing but not drying, the eye cream sounds moisturising and the moisturiser sounds pretty good as well. To be honest, all of these products do! And at such low price points it means even if these products aren’t for my skin, it won’t be the end of the world.
