  • New In Home Bargains Including Mallows Beauty Products!

Finding new products in Home Bargains always makes me nervous! It gets my fingers twitching to make a purchase which I don’t necessarily need but want. Surely this isn’t just me? I’m weak when it comes to new bath, shower, body and skincare products and unfortunately I’ve found some new ones in HB recently. So what did I find?

    New in Home Bargains
    Mallows Beauty Watermelon Body Scrub

Containing pink Himalayan salt, apricot, sweet almond and sunflower seed oil, this body scrub should exfoliate the skin and leave it soft, smooth and moisturised. Perfect for pre-tanning, general pampering or to use once or twice a week to keep the skin on the body in tip top condition. £3.99.

    Mallows Beauty Watermelon Body Scrub
Mallows Beauty Glycolic Acid Body Cleanser

Another body exfoliator from Mallows Beauty, but more chemical based rather than granular, so no grainy bits! Ideal for those who don’t want bits in their body scrub. This Glycolic Acid Body Cleanser also helps with blemishes on the body so great to use during warmer weather. £2.99.

Mallows Beauty Glycolic Acid Body Cleanser
    Mallows Beauty Pineapple Foam Toner

Mallows Beauty Pineapple Foam Toner is formulated to exfoliate, brighten the skin and make it look clearer and smoother while not stripping the skin. £3.49.

Mallows Beauty Foaming Pineapple Enzyme Toner
    Decleor Mini’s

Yes the Decleor mini’s are back! Incredibly popular because as a brand the products were expensive when sold in department stores in the UK. These are definitely mini sizes and range from 5ml to 25ml, which is perfect for travel or to try out. Different products are available including their facial oils and night cream, still only 79p per sachet (with sachets containing 1 or 2 products).

    Decleor mini’s
Dr Lipp’s All Ways Daily Wash

This product is to be used from head to toes, and can be used as a shampoo, facial cleanser and a body wash. Fragrance free, suitable for sensitive skin and contains ingredients coconut oil, aloe vera, and rapeseed oil. Great for people who want more natural products and also people who want a multi use product to save time, energy and product. £1.99.

Dr Lipp’s All Ways Daily Wash
    Dr Lipp’s Moisturising Balm

Another product that can be used on the face and the body. Dr Lipp’s Moisturising Balm contains Vitamin E and coconut oil. Ideal for dry skin and easy to work into the skin as it melts from balm into a more liquid state. £1.99.

    Dr Lipp’s Moisturising Balm
    Nail & Cuticle Oil Pen

Cuticle oil is something a lot of us overlook using (I’m one!). They instantly can make your nails look and feel healthier and well kept. But most come in a brush or dropper form in a bottle. This is an actual pen you can ‘paint’ around the nail quickly, no mess and easy and handy to travel with. This comes in strawberry and orange fragrance. £1.00.

    Nail & cuticle oil

So these are the products I’ve found recently in Home Bargains. All newly on shelves (except the Decleor mini’s), all affordable and budget friendly products to use regularly or to gift.

  • New Bath, Shower & Fragrance Dupes in Lidl

Dupes are a part of everyday shopping. You can find ‘inspired’ by products in everything. From clothing, to home accessories, but more commonly in fragrance, skincare and body care items. I visited my local Lidl last week because they’ve just released ALOT of products that purely by appearance alone could be classified as dupes. So what do they have dupe wise for the bath, shower and body and what brands are they dupes of?

    New Dupes in Lidl
    Hair & Body Perfume Mists

I spotted hair & body perfume mists, which are dupes of the brand Sol de Janerio. I’ve seen other versions of perfume mists in different stores and shops, but packaging wise this stands out more to me. Lidl’s versions are one of the most appealing and very similar to their original counterparts. Two fragrances were available, in the form of Pistachio & Salted Caramel and Jasmine & Dragon Fruit. 250ml and priced at £3.99.

    Perfume Mists
    Hand & Body Liquid Soap

A brand I’ve used in the past and loved called L’Occitane En Provence is what Lidl’s new liquid soap product seems to be inspired by. L’Occitane is a French brand, whose packaging is very similar to the Lidl version. Like L’Occitane, the Lidl liquid soap comes in the fragrances of lavender, rose and verbena. £2.99 for 500ml.

Hand & Body Liquid Hand Soap
    Shea Hand Cream

Another L’Occitane dupe, based on one of their most iconic products, is their shea buter hand cream. Lidl’s version, again, packaging wise is very similar along with the percentage of shea butter in the ingredients (20%). Only £2.49 for 100ml.

    Shea Hand Cream
    Shower Gels

Out of all the products Lidl had to offer, their new shower gels probably grabbed my attention the most. The simple bottle and the black label reminds me of LUSH products. Similar in fragrance types to LUSH? Not sure, as I’m not familiar with their shower products. But smelling 2 out of the 4 fragrances got the thumbs up from me, they smelt really good! These come in Mintilicious Tingle, Honey I’m Home, Dizzy Rose and Relax. £1.99 for 500ml.

    Shower Gels
    Botanical Bath & Shower Gels

Lidl’s Botanical Shower Gels come in a variety of fragrances included Rose & Rhubarb and Orange & Bergamot. These are ‘inspired’ by the brand Molton Brown. Molton Brown is a brand I’ve used before, and are well known for luxury bath, shower and body care products. Lidl’s version costs £1.49 for 500ml.

    Botanical Shower Gels

These were only a few products I found in Lidl, there were MORE! Nicely packaged, good sizes, great smells (from what I got to sniff) and all affordable!

  • New Make-Up, Make-Up Tools & Skincare In Home Bargains

Most of us like to see new products on the shelves in our local Home Bargains. More so when they’re affordable. In the last week I’ve seen some items which could grab the attention of anyone from make-up and skincare lovers to teens and young adults. So what’s new?

    Home Bargain Finds!
    w7 False Nails

Very decorative and striking set of 24 nails with glue included. Different designs and colourings available, great for those who like eye catching nails and nail art. 99p per pack.

    w7 False Nails
    w7 Lash & Brow Serum

A lash and brow serum is a good product to have to keep both lashes and brows groomed and conditioned. A product that’s overlooked and could be great for those who love applying make-up on these areas or those who like a natural look. Only 99p.

    w7 Lash & Brow Serum
    w7 Ultra Plush Mascara

There seems to be an influx of w7 products in Home Bargains at the moment but I doubt there will be any complaints from shoppers! Included with other make-up products is a mix of different mascara’s, but I only saw one version on my last look which was Ultra Plush Mascara. This is to help add volume and fullness to lashes but in a soft and less harsh looking and feeling way. Cost? You guessed it, 99p!

    w7 Plush Mascara
    Face Facts Blemish Patches

These aren’t new as I’ve seen these before in store, but they fly in and fly out. Face Facts Blemish Patches are designed to help deal with spots. Each shaped patch placed over a spot/blemish, helps to get all the nasty stuff out of it and help to protect it too. Fragrance free, which can help if skin is irritated. Another 99p product!

    Face Facts Blemish Patches
    Ecotools Fiery Eyes Kit

A 6 piece brush kit dedicated to the eye area, Ecotools Fiery Eyes Kit is a great looking brush set. All different shapes and sizes are included, which can cover all eye make-up application needs. £2.99.

    Ecotools Fiery Eyes Kit

All of these products cost more on other websites or in stores, so a great way to pay the lowest prices if you wanted to try some of these out.
