  • New Under £2.00 Biovene Skincare In Home Bargains

Have you ever heard of the skincare brand Biovene? I’ve seen their products but I don’t know much about the brand. Doing a basic search, I’ve found out that Biovene is Spanish. They use natural ingredients with today’s technology, creating a variety of skincare products suitable for various skin types and skin concerns. As a brand their products seem quite affordable online, but more so in stores such as Home Bargains. So what did I find in Home Bargains from Biovene?

    So what do I think?

I think this is a good selection of very affordable products. Ideal for those who don’t want to spend a fortune on skincare. Will these products be for everyone? No. Can these easily be slotted into a skincare routine? Yes. Would I buy these myself? Well, I did buy my daughter the pimple patches, as I couldn’t see a mention of fragrance in them. But other products I personally wouldn’t because I try to use fragrance free products on her and myself. But these products do intrigue me, and worth checking out in your local Home Bargains.

    Decleor Minis

The French skincare brand Decleor is expensive. I know this because I used to buy it years ago! Facial oils used to retail up to £60 for the full size. So seeing mini’s of this brand for only 79p is great and a bargain. Great buy if you love the products, need mini’s for travel or just want to try it out, this is a great way of doing it. Not all the products are the same. Some contain bath and shower products, some facial, so worthwhile going through the sachets to check what they contain.

If you picked up the standard eau de toilette bottle when it was in stock, grabbing a refill for it is available. Costing only £4.99 for 75ml, if you want to stock up on the fragrance this is an affordable way of doing it.

A whole routine is available in the Rosemary Infused products. This includes shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and hair oil. All beautifully packaged, good ingredients included and each product only £1.99.

  • New Skin & Body Products From Aldi’s Lacura Range

There is nothing nicer than visiting my local Aldi store and finding new products have landed. If you’re a regular shopper to this supermarket you will know that when new skin, bath and body products come in they rarely last long in regards to availability. So if you want something, and you see it, you have to be quick because these are only stocked for a short amount of time. Have I spotted anything new in my local Aldi store recently?

New skin and bath/body products currently in Aldi
    Lacura’s Light/Rich Moisturising Cream

Lacura’s Moisturising Cream comes in two versions, one light, one rich. I assume this is reflected in their texture and consistency. Both can be used on face and body, with the light version being more suitable for a normal skin type and rich for dry skin. This range is a possible dupe for a body and skincare range called Weleda. This costs £3.99 for 75ml.

    Aldi’s Lacura Light/Rich Moisturising Cream
    Lacura’s Hydrating Gel Serum

This serum is designed to improve the overall look of the skin, when it comes to texture, feel, hydration and fine lines. £4.99 for 50ml.

    Aldi’s Lacura Hydrating Gel Serum
    Lacura’s Illuminating Priming Moisturiser

Lacura’s Illuminating Priming Moisturiser is aimed at normal to dry skin types. Not only is this supposed to hydrate the skin but also give the skin that primed and ready to go look without the aide of a make-up equivalent. £4.99 for 50ml.

    Aldi’s Lacura Illuminating Priming Moisturiser
Lacura’s Almond Coconut Honey & Vanilla Honey Bath Nectar

Not a new product but one that has popped up in Aldi infrequently over the last couple of years. Lacura’s Almond Coconut Honey & Vanilla Honey Bath Nectar is supposed to be that decadent, indulging bath product containing actual honey, provitamin B5 and sweet almond oil. Aimed to be nourishing on the skin, pampering and creates bubbles. This looks like a dupe for Laura Mercier‘s Honey Bath. £5.99 for 300ml.

Did I buy any of these?

No I didn’t! Not because curiosity didn’t hit me but I genuinely don’t need these products. But I do like the look of these. Their price points are affordable, they seem perfect for the season we are in where our skin naturally is drier, duller and lack lustre and they will be easy to slot into a skin or/and body care routine.
