  • New Under £2.00 Biovene Skincare In Home Bargains

Have you ever heard of the skincare brand Biovene? I’ve seen their products but I don’t know much about the brand. Doing a basic search, I’ve found out that Biovene is Spanish. They use natural ingredients with today’s technology, creating a variety of skincare products suitable for various skin types and skin concerns. As a brand their products seem quite affordable online, but more so in stores such as Home Bargains. So what did I find in Home Bargains from Biovene?

    So what do I think?

I think this is a good selection of very affordable products. Ideal for those who don’t want to spend a fortune on skincare. Will these products be for everyone? No. Can these easily be slotted into a skincare routine? Yes. Would I buy these myself? Well, I did buy my daughter the pimple patches, as I couldn’t see a mention of fragrance in them. But other products I personally wouldn’t because I try to use fragrance free products on her and myself. But these products do intrigue me, and worth checking out in your local Home Bargains.

  • New! So…? Fragrance Caramel Cookies Body Mist

Fragrance is a very individual thing. We all have our likes and dislikes, that’s what makes wearing fragrance a very personal thing. One of the types of scents I enjoy wearing and smelling is what I would call bakery style scents. Anything that resembles a sweet treat like a dessert I love. So I had to try the new Caramel Cookies Body Mist from So…? Fragrance. Did it give me a sugar high or was it a crashing disappointment?

    So…? Caramel Cookies Body Mist
    Packaging

All So…? body mists are packaged the same. They come in a clear, plastic spray top bottle. The label on the back has an image that peeps through the bottle giving it a pattern. But what stands out with these body mists is how the sides are curved in. Easy and comfortable to hold, and by look alone I know what brand of body mist this is.

    Fragrance

To sum this up easily and quickly, the scent of this reminds me of caramelised biscuits! Sweet, slightly buttery biscuit with caramel that’s nearly but not at the point of burning. It smells mouth watering and ticks all the scent boxes for any bakery scent lover!

    Strength & Longevity

When I initially apply this, the strength is medium. You can’t mistake the smell, it’s there and it’s not a delicate, soft scent. What I do find is I can be heavy handed with this and not feel as if I’m overdoing it, by making it heady or strong. Longevity wise is what I expect from a body mist. It’s there straight away, and continues to be noticeable for a few hours but strength dies down. And by the start of the afternoon, if applied in the morning, it’s there faintly but not totally disappeared.

    So…? body mists
    Recommended?

I’m slightly biased on this one but purely because of how this smells, this is totally recommended! It’s not a sophisticated scent but I love it and it smells exactly how you hope it would. Strength and longevity is standard for a body mist. It’s no worse or no better than any other I’ve used before. But I still think it’s worth a buy!

Regular price from Superdrug is £3.99 for 100ml. I bought this when on promotion for £2.35. If you can buy this for the price I paid, it’s a great buy!

  • New in Tesco! Face Facts Ceramide Blemish Skincare Range

If you suffer from specific skin concerns and are trying out different products to see what works, it can be expensive and time consuming. Having budget friendly brands really helps when needing to change skincare routines and also to maintain them and repurchase if they do work. I mentioned in a previous post that an affordable brand called Face Facts is now in Tesco. They have different products available for different skin issues, including their Blemish range. So what is there to purchase for oily skin and how much does the products cost?

Face Facts Ceramide Skin Barrier Complex Blemish Range
Why is this range of products good for blemish prone skin?

This selection of products contains ingredients which help to unclog pores, remove excess oil from the skin and also provides a form of exfoliation (salicylic acid, niacinamide). Fragrance free, so great for sensitive skin, and products are also vegan friendly.

    Blemish Clarifying Foaming Cleanser

Deeply cleanses the skin of grime, dirt and impurities, without being too harsh and drying the skin out. £5.00 for 400ml.

    Blemish Clarifying Foaming Cleanser
    Blemish Gel Moisturiser

A light weight moisturiser that is designed to not only moisturise, but strengthen the skin barrier and provide a more matt looking finish to a normally oily skin. £2.00 for 50ml.

    Blemish Gel Moisturiser
    Blemish Treatment Gel

A spot treatment that can be used directly onto blemishes that helps calm and treat these areas. This spot treatment should help minimise the look and feel of these blemishes. £2.00 for 15ml.

    Blemish Treatment Gel
So who would these products be good for?

The first set of people that come to mind is teenagers. Typically with hormone changes their skin can be oily, congested and spotty. But anyone can suffer from these problems at various stages in life for lots of different reasons. So if skin appears blemished and shiny, this could be for them.

If you were to purchase all three of these products it would only cost £9.00! Great value and currently available at Tesco in store (store specific) and online.
