  • INEOS Skin Science Body Washes On Clubcard Deal In Tesco!

    A few months ago I was lucky to grab some body care products reduced on clearance from Boots. Some of those products were INEOS Skin Science Body Washes. I bought these mainly for my teenage son because they were decent sizes, fragrances I thought he would like and brilliant prices. But I recently spotted this range in my local Tesco. Different packaging, not on clearance BUT bigger sizes than I bought and on a Tesco Clubcard deal. So what did I find?

    Fragrances

    I saw three different fragrances available, which were:

    Mint + Geranium. Cooling, clean and with an earthiness to this scent.

    Mandarin + Sandalwood. A zesty, invigorating citrus with warming and slightly woody notes.

    Sea Salt + Blue Lotus. A hint of floral mixed in with a marine undertone.

    What’s so special about these body washes?

    They contain essential oils. Designed to be gentle on the skin but still be an effective cleanser. These products apparently are ‘Plant powered’, which could be why these formulas contain sage oil, rosemary leaf extract and sunflower seed oil, just to name a few of the ingredients included.

    These body washes come in a clear, plastic, pump dispenser bottle. The labelling makes these body washes look quite unisex and functional. I like the fact it does have a pump, meaning using this can be more controlled and also more hygienic.

    Now, this is the good bit! These body washes in Tesco come in 500ml. The ones I purchases from Boots was 300ml. The usual retail price for these 500ml versions is £4.00. On Boots website the 300ml is still being sold, and for £3.00. But at the time of writing his post, using Tesco’s club card, these body washes are £2.95 each! Which is great value considering the sizes.

    Tempted? Am I? My son still hasn’t used his current stash of these body washes so we will wait and see.

    Christmas is getting closer. I always find the lead up to that one day is the most tiring, stressful and expensive part. But with a little preparation, thought, and going to normal everyday places to tick off things off your to buy list, makes life easier.     A duo of 100ml sized body wash and 50ml body butter, both fragranced in Berry Crushin. Great travel and try me sizes, and ideal for a small gift or stocking filler. Priced at £6.00 but down to £2.80 (when using a Tesco Clubcard).

    3 body butters, each 50ml in size, in the fragrances of Botanical Serenity, Tranquil Bloom and Calm Comfort. Botanical Serenity’s fragrance is a mix of lavender, eucalyptus, patchouli and sage. Tranquil Bloom’s fragrance is lavender, eucalyptus, vetiver and jasmine. Calm Comfort is lavender, sweet orange, ho wood and cedar. £7.00 but down to £3.30 (when using a Tesco Clubcard).

    Out of all of the gifts I’ve seen in Tesco I want this one! This is a collection of 3 different fragranced eau de parfum’s from the brand Skin Saints. Included is Rouge (amber & warm woods), Miss Paris (soft iris & patchouli) and Cerise (cherry & almond blossom). Each 50ml in size, which will provide lots of fragrance. Beautifully packaged with a nice mix of different types of fragrance. Usual price is £14.00 but down to £6.60 (when using a Tesco Clubcard).

  • New in Tesco! Face Facts Ceramide Blemish Skincare Range

    If you suffer from specific skin concerns and are trying out different products to see what works, it can be expensive and time consuming. Having budget friendly brands really helps when needing to change skincare routines and also to maintain them and repurchase if they do work. I mentioned in a previous post that an affordable brand called Face Facts is now in Tesco. They have different products available for different skin issues, including their Blemish range. So what is there to purchase for oily skin and how much does the products cost?

    So who would these products be good for?

    The first set of people that come to mind is teenagers. Typically with hormone changes their skin can be oily, congested and spotty. But anyone can suffer from these problems at various stages in life for lots of different reasons. So if skin appears blemished and shiny, this could be for them.

    If you were to purchase all three of these products it would only cost £9.00! Great value and currently available at Tesco in store (store specific) and online.

  • New in Tesco! Face Facts Ceramide Skin Barrier Skincare Range!

    Who doesn’t love an affordable skincare brand, especially if it contains good quality products within it? Skincare, as I always say, can be as cheap or as expensive as you want because you can get great products from either price points. This is why I really like the brand Face Facts. Good selection of products for different skin types and concerns, products (I’ve tried one) that actually work, all at affordable prices. Finding their Ceramide range in my local Tesco was an unexpected treat as it seemed to stock a full skincare routine. What did I find?

    Firstly, what’s this range about?

    The ceramide products are designed to help maintain, strengthen and protect the skin barrier. Ideal for dry and sensitive skin, so effective but gentle formulas. Containing ceramides and hyaluronic acid (protects and keeps moisture in the skin), glycerin (moisturising) and oats (soothing). Plus this range is vegan friendly and fragrance free.

    Ceramide Hydrating Cleanser

    Cleanses while hydrating the skin without stripping it but leaving a clean feeling. Apply to damp skin, massage and then rinse off with water. 400ml for £5.00.

    A light weight serum to use on top of freshly cleansed skin. Honestly? I’m not too sure what this serum really is designed for but can only assume it’s another moisture giver and skin protecting product. 30ml for £2.00.

    Using a pea sized amount on clean under eyes, this eye cream should be hydrating but not heavy, great for tired and sensitive under eyes. 15ml for £2.00.

    Thoughts?

    As someone who loves the idea of skincare products that are gentle on the skin, fragrance free and containing nourishing and soothing ingredients, I can’t help but like this brand. Do they look slightly familiar packaging wise to a well known skincare brand? Yes they do! (dupe alert!). But it doesn’t change the fact this range has good products in it at exceptionally great prices. Cleanser, serum, eye cream and moisturiser, all full sizes for a total of £11.00?? SOLD!
