  • How Much Have These Products Gone Up In Price?

Nobody is surprised how much everyday items have gone up in price over the last few years. It’s getting to the point where it’s now the norm, not just in the UK but worldwide. This made me think, how many products have gone up in price that I’ve bought and reviewed? And by how much?

    Aldi’s Lacura Moisturising Face Wash

When I first tried and reviewed Aldi’s Lacura Moisturising Face Wash, this budget friendly skincare product was only 99p. Since then, it’s gone up to £1.15, which isn’t too bad, but it still costs more. It’s a product I still buy and myself and my children use it because the formulation is gentle, fragrance free and does the job.

    Aldi’s Lacura Moisturising Face Wash
    Lidl’s Lovely Eau de Parfum

Nicely packaged, beautifully scented and only cost £4.45 in 2022, Lidl’s Lovely Eau de Parfum was a great buy at the time. I really enjoyed using this supermarket fragrance and I was actually complimented when wearing this. How much does it cost now? £5.65. £1.20 more compared to 2 years ago.

    Lidl’s Suddenly Fragrances Lovely
Something actually costs less! Aldi’s Lacura Moisturising Hand Cream

I bought Aldi’s Lacura Moisturising Hand Cream because the formulation sounded moisturising and soothing, and similar to products within the Aveeno brand. The price point of 69p for 75ml was a brilliant price. Fast forward to now, and housed in a different looking tube, this costs 10p less at 59p!

Aldi’s Lacura Spa Foaming Bath Soak & Luxury Bath Float

I first purchased Aldi’s Lacura Spa Foaming Bath Soak & Luxury Bath Float back in 2021. These were great sizes, nicely packaged and dupes of the brand Sanctuary Spa. For £1.79 each these were great value and also performed well in the bath. How much are they now? £2.45. Yes…£2.45!

Aldi’s Lacura Spa Luxury Bath Float & Foaming Bath Soak

So inflation, cost of living, whatever you want to call it has hit EVERYTHING! Which is why it’s important to get the most of your money when it comes to the products you buy.
