  • Everything Pumpkin Scented For Your Home In Primark & TK Maxx

Autumn! Such a great season overall. The weather, the fashion, the general feel of places is totally different to the previous season we’ve encountered. And I love it! One thing I love about this time of the year is home fragrance. Yes, we still have candles, wax melts, reed diffusers and plug ins available. But the scents they come in are cosy, warming and homely. One scent that will be around for a few months is going to be pumpkin. Not just because of autumn but for Halloween too. So what does stores Primark and TK Maxx have right now home fragrance product wise in pumpkin scent?

To buy or not to buy?

Honestly? There was so many pumpkin scented home fragrance products in both Primark and TK Maxx my head was spinning! This was just a selection of some of what’s available. The ones I could sniff all smelt great, and definitely had the pumpkin element to it. How these products were presented blew my mind! • Reduced Home Fragrance Products In ASDA!

Coming to the end of one season and having another one just around the corner, means change. Stores have already started to add new product lines to their shelves and reduced the price of others. Great for customers who want a bargain and pay less for a product. So the month of August is an ideal time to keep your eyes peeled for special promotions and prices that will save you money. A recent trip to my local ASDA showed quite a few home fragrance products were on the shelves that were reduced. So what did I find?

    Yankee Candle Scent Plug Refills

Probably one of the most expensive plug refill products on the market is from Yankee Candle. So being able to get their plug in refills for a lower price than usual is great to see. I found Pink Sands and Midsummer’s Night set of 2 plug in refills both down from £7.00 to £4.98.

    Luxury Reed Diffusers

These reed diffusers were available in three fragrances: Smoked Amber, Wild Pear, and Parisian Violet. Smoked Amber is a scent mix of dark chocolate, vanilla, amber and pink pepper. This sounds and looks great for autumn and winter use. Wild Pear is a scent mixed with apples, pears, plum and elderflower. Parisian Violet is a combination of ylang ylang, roses and vanilla. All three fragrances sounded delicious, all packaged in a very stylish way and comes with a small plate to pop the diffuser on. Down from £10.00 to £4.97.

    Luxury Large Candles

Each candle comes in the same fragrance as the luxury reed diffusers. Great sizes, quite heavy glass and simple but stylish in design. Down from £10.00 to £4.97.

These were just a few of the home fragrance products I found in ASDA reduced, because there were more! What I liked about these items was the fragrances would be great to use in the more cooler seasons coming up, not just for summer. And all at affordable prices.

  • 3 Things I Bought From Aldi In Their Christmas Sale

With New Year, school half term and bad weather, shopping has been very limited in this household. I would normally venture in various supermarkets, especially in January to see what they have on special offer that’s Christmas or New Year related. But that’s not really been happening at the start of 2025. But I did go into my local Aldi store quickly to grab a few grocery essentials and picked up 3 bath and home fragrance products that I thought were great value. What did I buy?

3 Things I Bought From Aldi In Their Christmas Sale
    Fireside Spice Reed Diffuser

I picked this up because I love fireside as a scent in home fragrance products. Fireside Spice is made up of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and biscuit. Spicy, warming, almost bakery basked with a hint of woody notes. This screams winter! Packaging isn’t too Christmas like, but does have stockings, candy cane leaf images on a neutral coloured boxed. Reduced to £1.49.

Hotel Collection Pomegranate Scented Set of 3 Bath Bombs

3 pomegranate scented round, white and medium sized bath bombs housed in a white cracker finished off with a black ribbon. My eyes caught this because of how simple but stylish this looked. The scent is a Jo Malone dupe and I could smell this from the packaging, which is strong and distinctive. How much? Only 99p!

Hotel Collection Pomegranate Scented Set of 3 Bath Bombs
    Purewick Votive Candle Set

This is a beautifully boxed set of 3 glass votive candles in the fragrances of Starry Night, Let it Snow and Sleigh Bells Ring. Each one is quite different in scent. One is very smoky and woody. Another with a spicy scent to it with a little caramelised sugar and the last woody and a touch of fruitiness. Such a beautifully presented box of candles which only cost 99p!

    Purewick Votive Candle Set

So what do I think of these items I picked up? Absolute BARGAINS! Nicely packaged, great scents and budget busting pricing! What am I going to do with these? These will be going straight into my gift drawer for future use, except the reed diffuser, that’s MINE!
