  • 5 Home Fragrance Products Reduced In Aldi!

Like some of the skincare products reduced in price in my local Aldi, I’ve also found some of their home fragrance products reduced as well! Both of these lines came into store at the same time, and probably on their way out to make way for Christmas and Winter related items. So if you’re looking for some home fragrance products for your home, or for gifting, this is what I recently found in my store:

    Reed Diffusers

I spotted two fragrances available, with one being Glow Up. Glow Up’s fragrance sounded appealing, as it consisted of citrus, neroli, sandalwood and vanilla. Nicely packaged, doesn’t scream a particular season which is good for generic gifting. Originally was £3.99 down to £2.99.

    Candles

These candles were in the same fragrances as the reed diffusers, but I only spotted Glow Up and Sweet Dreams. Sweet Dreams being more relaxing in feel with scents of lavender, geranium and rose. Boxed, stylish in look and down from £3.99 to £2.99.

There were a few different fragrances available in these tealights when they first dropped in my local store, but only Toasted Marshmallow Fireside was available to purchase most recently. Very much an Autumn/Winter fragrance and nicely packaged. Down from £2.49 to £1.99.

  • Are These New? Crystal Infused Home Fragrance Range In B&M

I’ve not visited my local B&M store for awhile, but spending a few minutes recently looking at their home fragrance ranges I spotted some interesting home fragrance products. I found products containing semi-precious stones, which I never saw on previous visits. So what was included in this range?

B&M’s crystal infused candles, wax melts and reed diffusers
    Wax Melts

The wax melts caught my eye first, since I’m a wax melt junkie! These come in the form of a wax melt snap bar, segmented with 8 sections to them. Each one housed in a clear, plastic container and costing only £1.50 each.

    Candles

The candles were quite large and weighty in feel thanks to being housed in a frosted glass jar. Each having two wicks rather than 1 to light. These were £4.00.

    Reed Diffusers

Typical looking reed diffusers with the glass bottle filled with fragrance and reeds separately housed in a sachet attached to it. £4.00 each.

    Fragrances

Each product (wax melts, candles and reed diffusers) comes in 4 fragrances named after the semi – precious stones/crystals they are inspired by (and I think contain):

    Aquamarine = Ylang and Musk

Clear Quartz = Gardenia and Vanilla

    Amethyst = Magnolia and Violet

Rose Quartz = Peony and Rose

I smelt all four of these and found them all to be quite nice. Amethyst had a slight Parma Violet scent to it, while the others were quite fresh in scent with floral backgrounds.

    How do these look?

Both the wax melts and the candles looked quite basic. But the crystals being visible on top of the set, white wax, gave them a slightly edgy and earthy look. The candles being set in coloured jars finished them off well. The reed diffusers looked like any standard reed diffusers but with a few stones sitting at the bottom of the liquid. These didn’t grab my attention as much and could have been a little more imaginative look wise but still pleasant enough on the eye.

    Overall impression?

I have no idea how new this range is but I like it! The scents smell nice, the overall appearance of each product is good with colouring of the labels tying in with the scents and stones used. Prices are budget friendly so offer great value for home fragrance and home decor products.

  • Teacher Gifts of Home Fragrance Products For Under £5.00

It’s getting closer to that time of year where many people want to thank the teachers who have been educating and looking after their children for the last school year. I’ve spent many years buying gifts for multiple teachers for both of my children, so I know how it can be difficult to get affordable, nice and not the norm gifts for them. I can imagine it’s hard for others too if they don’t want to buy the usual mug, diaries or biscuits. So I’ve kept my eyes peeled for affordable home fragrance products that would make nice gifts for teachers in both ASDA and Home Bargains.

Why choose home fragrance as a gift?

Most people use some form of home fragrance products in their homes. They’re practical, can be used for decoration and fragrance. Overall home fragrance products is a little more thoughtful than other potential gifts.

    ASDA – Tinned Candles

My local ASDA has a good selection of home fragrance products. I spotted these new tinned candles because they looked great, good variety of fragrances and were only £2.00 each! They looked more expensive than what they were and even on it’s own would make a nice gesture.

    Home Bargains – Reed Diffusers

I spotted two different brands of reed diffusers, two different price points with different scents available. The first one I spotted was James & Co Fragrance Reed Diffusers. 100ml in size and scents included French Lavender and Vanilla, each costing only £1.79. The other brand I saw was from Wax Lyrical. 100ml in size and only in one fragrance which was Coastal Breeze. This was a little more pricey at £2.99, but still not particularly expensive.

I also spotted two jar candles which looked very appealing. One in the brand of Yankee Candle in different scents. I picked up Cupcake Party. This was a good sized candle (not massive but not small either) and cost only £3.99. The other was Wickford & Co, and these seemed to be cocktail scented. The jars were striking, fun fragrances and only £2.99.

There were so many more fragrance products available in both of these stores. But the ones I mentioned grabbed my attention because of price, how they looked, fragrances available and having a sneaky sniff of them made me interested! Pop one of these in a gift bag alone or with something else, and this would be nice gift to receive at the end of the school year.

  • Reduced To Clear Home Fragrance Products In The Supermarket Tesco

Who doesn’t love to see reduced price labels while shopping in their local supermarket? Even more so if it’s against products or items you either were planning on buying or you tend to buy generally. Home fragrance products are things that can make a home more homely, cosy and inviting. That’s probably why people buy them, to help create that type of environment. If you have a decent sized Tesco supermarket near you, it might be worthwhile having a look for these products because they have a sale on in many of their branches. So what did I find in mine?

    Wax Melts

My favourite go to for home fragrance is using a wax melt. There were quite a few different fragrances available in wax melts on the shelves reduced to various prices and all containing a decent amount of wax (60g). Rhubarb & Elderberry, Mango & Pineapple, Fig & Mulberry were just a few of the fragrances available that I saw.

    Tesco Wax Melts
    Tealights

Packs of 27 tea lights of mostly Autumn/Winter fragrances I spotted at reduced prices. But, like the wax melts, there were more than one fragrance available so plenty of choice.

    Reed Diffusers

Not much to choose from in my local store, but reed diffusers in quite neutral, fresh fragrances were on the shelf. Great price points at £1.00. I find these are easy to store away for gifts as not everyone likes to use wax melts or candles, but everyone likes a nice smelling home.

    Tesco Reed Diffusers
    Candles

Most of the scented candles I saw were the smaller variety (95g) in glass. At 65p and under, these were cheaper than what are usually sold in discount stores. How they smell, burn and perform I have no idea as I’ve never bought or used them. But still priced very well with many of the fragrances being identical to some in the wax melts and tea lights.

    Tesco Candles

It seems as if Tesco are having a clear out of their own branded home fragrance products. What is good to see is not all of the fragrances are current or past seasons but perfect for Spring or Summer to come. Great opportunity for those who love these types of items to buy while at bargain prices.
