  • *New* Classic Fragrances Air Fresheners

Air fresheners in spray form are a quick and easy way to fragrance a room or small area. Not normally my go to get a hit of fragrance, but I’ve been using these more and more recently because fragrances are more imaginative these days and less predictable. This week I purchased Classic Fragrances Air Fresheners in Ocean Breeze and New Ride. New in Home Bargains, these cost 69p for 125ml.

    Classic Fragrances Air Fresheners
    Look familiar?

These come from the same brand that produce body mists, perfumes, body washes and other cleaning/fragrance products that are similar in fragrance to well known designer scents. They’ve been very popular over the last few years because they provide a designer like scent but not at a designer price.

    Designer Fragrances Body Sprays
    Packaging

The look of these tie in well with all the other products within their brand. They look more like body sprays/mists than air fresheners, which I don’t mind. But I’ve had to warn my children what they actually are because I KNOW someone will use it on their body! They seem smaller than other air fresheners on the market, but considering the price, it seems fair.

    Fragrances

Both of these fragrances smell familiar to me, so they probably are dupes of well known scents. New Ride is fresh but woody. Ocean Breeze is more marine based with powdery notes. Both have very typical masculine notes to them so won’t appeal to everyone, but they are nice.

    First impressions?

Great price point, interesting fragrance choices and nicely packaged BUT I think they do look too much like body sprays or mists. Personally, I wish there had been other fragrances to choose from at the time of purchase to try. So I will keep my eyes open for any new ones. How do these perform? Not sure yet, but I will let you know!

  • Garnier’s SkinActive Moisture Bomb Eye Sheet Mask

Seasonal weather changes can cause havoc on my skin, especially on my under eye area. I use an eye cream everyday but sometimes I need something to slot into my skincare routine, hoping it will perk up my under eyes. I’ve dragged out of my skincare stash Garnier’s SkinActive Moisture Bomb Eye Sheet Mask bought a few months ago from Home Bargains for 69p to see if this will help. Is this any good?

Garnier’s SkinActive Moisture Bomb Eye Sheet Mask
What does this eye mask supposed to do?

Garnier’s SkinActive Moisture Bomb Eye Mask is to help relieve the look and feel of puffy and tired eyes, keeping them hydrated and appearing and feeling smoother.

    Ingredients

Some ingredients included in this eye mask are glycerin, coconut water, hyaluronic acid and green tea.

    What does this look like?

Garnier’s SkinActive Moisture Bomb Eye Sheet Mask is shaped like a full eye mask so comes in one full piece. The mask covers above and below the eye and the bridge of the nose, leaving holes for the eyes. The material is identical to most tissue facial skincare masks on the market.

    How to use

Place the eye mask over cleansed skin and wear for 15 minutes. Any excess serum dab lightly around the eye area, don’t rinse off. For a more cooling effect place this in the fridge before use.

    In use

Taking the eye mask out of it’s little packet, it was moist and fully soaked in serum, but not dripping. Very easy to put on and adjust around the eye area. What I loved about this was the instant cooling sensation this gave. My eyes have felt very tired and heavy, especially with the change in weather, and this was bliss! The fact this stayed in place without budging made using this even more easier and enjoyable. Just to add this mask had no scent to it as it was fragrance free.

I had this eye mask on for around 15 minutes, removed it and found it was still very damp. My eye area still felt very cool and hydrated. I did feel though after awhile my eyes needed more moisture as I could feel it sucked in all of the serum from the eye mask and was still thirsty. But my eyes did look, slightly (just slightly) fresher.

    Recommended?

What I wanted from this product was for my under eyes to look and feel better. Did they look better? Slightly but barely noticeable, which is fine. I wasn’t expecting miracles. What really impressed me was how this eye mask made my eyes feel. Relaxed, soothed, comforted and cooled. It wasn’t just my under eyes that needed a little help it was also around the eye lids too. And this mask helped, even if it was a temporary fix. So if you want an eye pamper for the whole eye area, because they’re tired and possibly suffering from stress, hay fever or lack of sleep, this needs to be tried! This is one product I will repeat purchase in the future.

This eye sheet mask is available from most places on the high street, such as Boots, Superdrug and many supermarkets,so good availability, although NOT at the Home Bargains price of 69p unfortunately!
