I was very lucky to be gifted a selection of wax from UK based wax vendor Home of Honey Candle Co recently. One set that was included was Valentines Collection. So what is this?

The wax
Valentines Collection contains 3 different wax melt snap bars. Each 50g in weight, slightly different in colours and 3 different fragrances. Two bars are pink in colour, the other more cream in colour with the added addition of glitter.
Packaging
These wax melt snap bars come in a clear plastic casing, finished off with a pink ribbon on the front. Very practical, easy to store away and keeps the wax safe.

These smell absolutely amazing and scream Valentine’s Day for different reasons. Fruity berry based scents with rose led florals, are these or are these not romantic AND aromatic! Its not hard to guess a delivery of wax melts. Before a delivery person hands over the package you can SMELL it 5 feet away! And that’s why I knew my latest parcel contained wax melts. The wax melts in question were gifted by UK wax vendor Home of Honey Candle Co and is a mix of various shapes and fragrances. So what was included?
These are inspired by the laundry unstoppable products that are highly scented and very popular. Beautifully coloured in soft pastels. On the back of these wax snap bars they shimmer, thanks to the addition of glitters.
These are inspired by various Mrs Hinch fragrances in cleaning and laundry products. Subtly coloured, with each colour matching (in my opinion) the fragrance name. On the back there’s lots of glitter on each bar.
These fragrances are perfect Valentine Day fragrances. Fruity strawberry, floral rose and other sensual scents are included. As you can imagine, with this collection these snap bars are slightly different shades of pink. Unlike the other collections, glitter is visible on the top (lightly) and on the bottom of each wax melt snap bar.

50g of wax is housed in a clean, crisp and white sachet with a clear window on the front where you see the wax inside. Finished off with a white bow, this looks incredibly sleek.

An ombre coloured snap bar that has various shades of colour in it including pink, cream and green. Standard 50g sized segmented wax melt snap bar.

An incredibly sweet teddy bear shaped wax melt, pink in colour and weighs 50g. The fragrance of Strawberry & Lily sounds like a great combination of fruit and floral.
Lily of the Valley Wax Melt Pot & Bee Shaped Wax Melt
A super cute flower shape on the top of a wax melt pot with a sprinkle of glitter. A second wax melt of the same fragrance was included. Round, yellow in colour with bee detailing in the middle. Lily of the Valley is quite a traditional floral scent which is quite fresh and strong.

First impressions?
These wax melts ae incredible! Look wise they are stunning. How they look matches the scent names perfectly. Attention to detail is impressive and I’m going to find it hard melting such beautiful wax. From what I’ve smelt so far, these smell as good as these wax melts look so my first impression is Home of Honey have really done a fabulous job on these creations.

If you look at the cost of branded home fragrance products, they can be pricey. Getting better prices can be done by purchasing seasonal fragrances that are coming to an end due to changes of seasons. These types of products you will see at some point being reduced in price on the high street or sat on the shelves of discount stores. Warm Apple Pie Bathroom Gel
A gel air freshening product designed for the bathroom, but I’m sure this could be used anywhere. Sadly, I saw this only in Warm Apple, but this is a good sized product (180g) and only 99p!
Personally, I LOVE both of these fragrances. They are seasonal but could be used anytime of the year. Warm Apple Pie and Berry Festive Kiss are comforting and cosy scents for any room in the home. If you like these types of products and these fragrances, stock up on these products NOW!
With New Year, school half term and bad weather, shopping has been very limited in this household. I picked this up because I love fireside as a scent in home fragrance products. Fireside Spice is made up of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and biscuit. Spicy, warming, almost bakery basked with a hint of woody notes. This screams winter! Packaging isn’t too Christmas like, but does have stockings, candy cane leaf images on a neutral coloured boxed. Reduced to £1.49.

Hotel Collection Pomegranate Scented Set of 3 Bath Bombs
3 pomegranate scented round, white and medium sized bath bombs housed in a white cracker finished off with a black ribbon. My eyes caught this because of how simple but stylish this looked. The scent is a Jo Malone dupe and I could smell this from the packaging, which is strong and distinctive. How much? Only 99p!

Purewick Votive Candle Set
This is a beautifully boxed set of 3 glass votive candles in the fragrances of Starry Night, Let it Snow and Sleigh Bells Ring. Each one is quite different in scent. One is very smoky and woody. Another with a spicy scent to it with a little caramelised sugar and the last woody and a touch of fruitiness. Such a beautifully presented box of candles which only cost 99p!

So what do I think of these items I picked up? Absolute BARGAINS! Nicely packaged, great scents and budget busting pricing! What am I going to do with these? These will be going straight into my gift drawer for future use, except the reed diffuser, that’s MINE!
