  • New Skincare In Home Bargains!

Some people love skincare and enjoy using products. Some people buy and use it because it’s part of a daily routine. I’m definitely the person who loves it, but I also appreciate the fact everyone’s budget and needs are different when it comes to skincare. Not everyone has the disposable income to spend on luxury lotions and potions, or even want to. So cheaper alternatives are welcome. I had a walk down first aisle in Home Bargains to see what new products they had and how much they were. So what did I find?

    New skincare in Home Bargains
    Beelicious Cleansing Jelly

I’ve never heard of this brand before. I don’t even know how good it is but Beelicious will appeal to some people. This brand/range includes a Honey & Squalene Cleansing Jelly. Not much on the packaging information wise on the product. But I assume it’s designed to be a non-stripping, hydrating, gentle but effective cleanser. £3.99 for 200ml.

    Beelicious Cleansing Jelly
    Beelicious Face Serum

This serum should be easy to slot into any skincare routine. The Beelicious Face Serum seems to have some soothing ingredients in this (aloe vera, honey) which should also hydrate. I don’t think it’s geared towards anti-ageing or specific skin concerns so quite generic. £2.49 for 50ml.

    Beelicious Face Serum
Beelicious Vitamin C & Niacinamide Face Cream

Containing vitamin c and niacinamide, these ingredients can help give skin a glow by improving the texture and tone of it. So this Vitamin C & Niacinamide Face Cream should not only moisturise but help the skin look healthier. £2.99 for 50ml.

Revolution Skin’s Medowfoam Milk Oil Cleanser

This isn’t a recent new edition to the shelves of Home Bargains, but I thought for the brand and price it was still worth a mention. Revolution Skin’s Medowfoam Milk Oil Cleanser looks great for those who like a more luxurious cleanser and possibly have a more drier skin type. Great to use as a general cleanser but also a make-up remover, whilst leaving the skin clean, soft and smooth. £1.59 for 200ml.

Revolution Skin’s Meadowfoam Milk Oil Cleanser
    Whind Brightening Overnight Eye Mask

Whind Brightening Overnight Eye Mask is an eye product that aims to brighten the under eye area, help with puffiness and smooth out this area. With ingredients to help with these results such as caffeine, meadowfoam seed oil, reishi mushroom and niacinamide. £3.99 for for 15ml.

    Whind’s Eye Mask

Did any of these grab my attention? Price points were good, loved the packaging but the only product I’m drawn to is Revolution Skin’s Medowfoam Milk Oil Cleanser. I don’t just like it because of the low price point but I like the sound of the cleanser in general. It’s also a brand I know with a decent set of ingredients.

  • New Revolution Beauty Products In Home Bargains

Revolution Beauty is a brand that pops up quite regularly in the discount store Home Bargains. Already known as an affordable bath, body and skincare brand, in Home Bargains they’re even more cheaper! So if you’re a lover of the brand, it’s always worthwhile checking what they have on their shelves. This week, I’ve spotted quite a few different skincare products which will makes fans (or bargains hunters) happy. So what have I found?

Revolution Gym’s Skin Revive Face & Body Wash
    Revolution’s Brow Goals Brow Kit

A nicely packaged and easy to use (by the look of it) mini make-up palette to help shape, define and create the brows of your choice. £1.99.

    Revolution’s Brow Goals Brow Kit
    Revolution’s Youth Juice Bomb

Gel like in consistency, so designed not to be as heavy as a cream based formula. Revolution’s Youth Juice Bomb is actually more of a primer than a moisturiser. It’s supposed to help smooth out the skin, giving it a good even base either with or without make-up. £1.99 for 30ml.

    Revolution’s Youth Juice Bomb
Revolution Skincare London’s Niacinamide Mattifying Cream

A facial cream that moisturises the skin but helps skin that is oily, blemished and with large pores. If skin appears oily and shiny, Revolution Skincare London’s Niacinamide Mattifying Cream should make it look more matt or natural. £1.99 for 50ml.

I Heart Revolution’s Lip Scrub & Lip Mask

These types of products for the lips aren’t my favourite, but look how cute these are especially in their packaging? This set contains a lip scrub to help remove dry skin from the lip area making it more smoother. Also included is a lip mask, to add moisture and treat the lips. All done in a fun way. £1.99.

I Heart Revolution’s Lip Scrub & Lip Mask

These are just a few of the Revolution products in Home Bargains I saw. All priced at £1.99 (brilliant value!) but a good variety of different products targeting different needs. If you like this brand, check out your local Home Bargains store to see what’s available.

  • Revolution Beauty’s Creative Eau de Toilette

The fragrance industry is a massive one. I have no idea how much money it makes or how many fragrance products gets sold every year, but it must run into it’s millions. I’m not surprised, because the majority of human beings love to use fragrance and like to give it as gifts too. I’m a bit of a fragrance junkie, and one of the fragrances I currently have on rotation is Revolution Beauty’s Creative Eau de Toilette. I bought this from ASOS last year during a sale. It was down from £10.00 to £6.70.

Revolution Beauty’s Creative Eau de Toilette
    Why did I buy this?

I normally stick with body mists because they are affordable and good quality ones are easy to pick up from anywhere. But I grabbed Revolution Beauty’s Creative Eau de Toilette because of the price, reviews on the website and how it looks. I’ve bought and used products from this brand before but never a fragrance product. At the cost I paid I thought it was a budget friendly way of trying this out with nothing to lose.

    Packaging

100ml of fragrance comes in quite a chunky, faceted, leopard printed glass bottle. Copper coloured detailing with faux crystal lid. This eau de toilette comes boxed and mirrors the print from the bottle but with added splashes of pink. You will either love or hate how this is looks but I personally love it! I think it’s fun, stands out and is patterned in a way that always slips into a fashion trend at some point of time.

    The Fragrance

This is a floral based fragrance which smells more white floral to me. It’s quite light, not heavy and very Spring like. The smallest amount of woody notes are present and overall this has quite a pretty, sweet, young, uplifting scent and feel to it.

    Strength & Longevity

Strength is a medium. It’s not heavy and powerful but it is there. Personally I could have this turned up a notch, but my hay fever right now is thankfully this isn’t stronger. Longevity is fair. The fragrance isn’t a punchy floral so I don’t expect it to be strong and everlasting. It does it’s job and when I need a bigger hit and the fragrance is lessening I apply more.

    Recommended?

Personally, I like this fragrance. I like how this smells, I love the packaging and how much I paid was really good. I’ve noticed my 11 year old daughter is quite fond of this too and I can see why. Different ages would like this scent, and I would be happy to buy this for my daughter or someone much older. To make this perfect, for me, I would like it slightly stronger and last longer, but it wouldn’t stop me buying this again.

You can buy this direct from Revolution Beauty (currently £12.00).

  • Women’s Fragrance Gifts For Valentine’s Day from Revolution Beauty

Love it or hate it, every year there is a day called Valentine’s Day. It’s a day where people will purchase cards, teddy bears, chocolates, alcohol and many other things to give as gifts to their significant other. Like any occasion, you can spend as much or as little as you want. But if you’re looking for fragrance ideas for the lady in your life that won’t break the bank, I’m going to point you into the direction of Revolution Beauty.

    Why chose Revolution Beauty?

Revolution Beauty is a one stop shop for skincare, make-up, bath, body and fragrance products. It’s a good site to visit if you are looking for anything in these areas and they are in physical stores too, such as Superdrug. And the thing I love about their site is the fact they regularly have sales, which makes products super affordable. So there’s plenty of opportunities to grab bargains for any occasion.

What type of fragrance products do they have?

Revolution Beauty sell body mists, eau de toilette’s, eau de parfum’s and even men’s fragrances too. For women, their main form of fragrance available is eau de toilette’s. What I like about their fragrances is you can buy them singular and full sized, in a duo with a body lotion or purse sized.

    Revolution Beauty’s Purse Sprays
    How are the priced?

Revolution Beauty’s products I would never deem to be expensive, and this is the same for their fragrances. Purse sprays (10ml) are £4.00, body mists between £6.00 and £8.00 (236ml). Individual fragrances (100ml) are £12.00 and fragrance and body lotion gift sets are the same price at £12.00.

    Sales?

There’s quite a few fragrance items on sale at the time of writing this post. I Heart Revolution Coconut Crush Body Mist is down from £8.00 to £4.00. Both Revolution Love Eau De Toilette and Makeup Revolution Ultimate Lights Eau De Toilette are down from £12.00 to £5.00. Plus there is Makeup Revolution Timeless Eau De Toilette & Body Lotion Gift Set and Makeup Revolution Passion Eau De Toilette & Body Lotion Gift Set down from £12.00 to £6.00. BARGAINS!

Revolution Beauty’s Creative Eau de Toilette
    Recommended?

Revolution Beauty as a brand in my opinion is aimed more at a younger demographic. The collaborations they do with particular brands, characters and people scream this to me. But it doesn’t mean older people can’t enjoy these products too, right? I would recommend heading towards their fragrances for gift ideas because there’s a wide selection of fragrances in different forms. Prices are affordable and even better when they are on sale. And there’s still time to get a Valentine’s Day gift delivered so get looking!
