  • Wicked Beauty Products In Primark

Wicked: For Good, has got to be the most anticipated film of 2025. As a fan of the first instalment, I’ve been counting down the months to the conclusion of a story I only knew bits of originally. So if I’ve been excited over this film, lots of people have been too. And what does that mean? Merchandise! Lots of it! If you’re a fan or not you won’t escape the merchandise, marketing and collaborations with other brands. So if you want to pick up anything Wicked, it’s easily done, and can be done affordably. I found a selection of Wicked products in the beauty section of Primark. What did I find and how much did they cost?

    Wicked Beauty Products In Primark
Colour Changing Lip Balm – £3.00

Keeping with the colour theme of the film, this lip balm comes with two lip balm ends: one green one pink. How exactly this colour changes isn’t mentioned on the packaging, but it does, and is also scented.

    Colour Changing Lipbalm
    Shimmering Body Wash – £4.50

250ml of two separately coloured body washes (pink and green of course!) that look like they dispense as one. Both have a shimmer look to them, with the scent being ‘Cosmic Star‘.

    Shimmering Body Wash
    Bath Fizzer Set – £5.00

This set contains 4 individually wrapped bath fizzers. One is shaped as a witches hat, one a perfume bottle, another a wand and the last one is a gold, mask like face. All connected to character’s in the film and decent in size. Nicely packaged and perfect for gift giving.

    Bath Fizzer Set
    Illuminating Face Serum – £4.00

The Illuminating Face Serum is soft pink in colour with a shimmer to it. I assume, this is to give the face a glow, fresh like look to it. 30ml in size and contains ceramides. So as much as this looks pretty, I would treat it as a skincare product not anything else.

    Illuminating Face Serum
    Hydrating Sheet Masks – £3.00

2 sheet masks designed to hydrate the skin, with each representing the two main characters. With these being printed sheet masks, I assume whatever designs are on them reflects the characters.

    Sheet Masks
    Eyelash Curler – £3.00

This is exactly what you would think an eyelash curler will look and behave like. The only difference is it’s green and has a witches hat on the bottom of one of the arms.

    Eyelash Curler

These were just a few Wicked related products I found in the beauty section of Primark. There were lashes, rollers, many different things that would keep any beauty loving Wicked fan happy! But what do I think about these releases? Products are nicely packaged, perfectly themed and all affordable.

  • How Good Is Garnier’s Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream?

My quest for the perfect eye cream is something I’ve been on for a long time. Life, children, more life, getting older, a little more life, really can take it out on a person. And for me, it shows under my eyes. They’ve always been my weak spot facially which has been made worse by just existing. And this is why I’m always checking out and trying a variety of different eye products. My latest one has been Garnier’s Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream. But is it any good?

Garnier’s Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream
    Why did I buy it?

As a brand, Garnier are good at producing high quality skincare products. This particular eye cream I went for because the mix of ingredients was something I hadn’t used before on my under eye area, and hoped it could deliver a result. And it was fairly priced, under £5.00 from Amazon, which was much cheaper than other retailers.

What is this supposed to do?

Garnier’s Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream is supposed to help brighten and improve the appearance of tired under eyes. Making dark circles and fine lines look better, and giving the under eyes a brighter, smoother and more even tone than before use.

    Packaging

This eye cream comes in a plastic tube, with a rubber end that the eye cream comes out of. You need to squeeze the product out to use. This tube comes boxed, with the colours and design mirroring each other.

    Look & consistency

Don’t be shocked but this eye cream comes out yellow! It has a slight pearlescent look to it and the consistency is cream like, smooth, not solid but not too liquid either. When squeezed out of the tube, it comes out easily and has a light hold to it.

    Ingredients

Garnier’s Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream contains various ingredients, including:

Vitamin C – helps to protect the skin from pollution and sun damage. Helps make skin appear smoother and clearer, and can help fade pigmentation.

Niacinamide – helps reduce the look of lines and wrinkles. Helps keep moisture in the skin and helps to even out skin tone.

Caffeine – can help reduce puffiness and improve blood circulation.

Banana Powder – can help skin look brighter, more even in tone and hydrates.

    Fragrance free!

    In use

I squeezed a small amount of this product onto my finger tips and patted it lightly under my eyes. It didn’t feel heavy, easy to apply and sank in well. It left my under eye area feeling moisturised without being greasy. This feeling lasts a long time. But to look at my eyes I was hoping for them to look a little brighter, maybe the delicate shimmer would take the edge off how tired they looked. But it didn’t. It looked no different than usual. What I would say is although they my under eye area looked normal, and didn’t look dry or feel dry, but there was no visible improvement.

    Recommended?

I like this eye cream. Its really nice on the skin and very moisturising without making the under eyes feel heavy. And if this was all I wanted then this would be perfect. But what I hoped for was to see a gradual improvement look wise or at least a temporary improvement with an application. So for that, I wouldn’t repurchase this again as it’s not for me. This is a product I’ve used for a few weeks so I’ve given it enough time to work its magic. I’ve used cheaper products that have done the same for my skin in the past. I think what I personally need is a product to help improve the condition of my under eyes but also mask how they look.

Would I recommend this? I’m not convinced this will help under eyes that look really tired and dark. But if you’re looking for a good eye cream to maintain an already healthy looking under eye, this will do no harm!

  • October’s Round Up Of Products I Found & Used

October was a fun month for finding different products on the high street. New season meant lots of autumn inspired items and also winter ones too. From home fragrance, to skincare…I saw lots of products for the face, body and home which were all budget friendly and relatively easy to grab from well known stores on the high street (or online). So what did I find in October?

October’s Round Up Of Products Found & Used
Face Facts Skincare Masks In B&M

A brand that is super affordable is Face Facts. Their products can be found in different stores but their biggest selection of products, including skincare, can be found in B&M. I found skincare face masks in different forms in B&M all under £4.00. Great for a pamper without the expensive.

    Face Facts Plumping Sheet Mask
Superdrug’s Limited Edition Halloween Fruity Sour Apple Body Mist

A body mist I’m still enjoying and using, is Superdrug’s Limited Edition Halloween Fruity Sour Apple Body Mist. So fruity, so effervescent and so different! This isn’t the type of scent you will smell regularly that’s why I love it, and it’s not expensive either.

    Face Facts Body Products

Not only does the brand Face Facts have a massive range of skincare products, but they also have lots of body products too. This includes shower body foams, body butters and body lotions. The collection they have in raspberry ripple fragrance looks very appealing and all under £3.00 each!

    Face Facts Cream Body Lotion
Superdrug’s Limited Edition Halloween Pumpkin Spice Body Mist

Another limited edition body mist from Superdrug is their Pumpkin Spice Body Mist. This is more of a traditional autumn scent which if you love anything pumpkin you will love this! Spicy, warming with a little musk to it.

Tiger Moon’s Vanilla Orchid Body Mist

Anyone who loves vanilla really needs to try Tiger Moon’s Vanilla Orchid Body Mist. Vanilla is one of my favourite scents, and this is a great mix of vanilla and florals which makes my nose very happy. Smells so much more expensive than what it cost, but if this was stronger and lasted longer would be PERFECT!

These are just a handful of products I’ve spotted on the high street and some I’ve bought and tried out. Did you have any favourite products you grabbed in October?

  • Face Facts Skincare Masks In B&M For Under £4.00 Each!

Skincare products are available online and on the high street at different price points. This makes grabbing a face wash, toner, moisturiser and anything else affordable for those on a budget. The other extreme is you can have a splurge on something more expensive. The choice is yours depending on what you want and how much you want to spend. One brand that has a massive range of products, and is available to buy in various stores, is Face Facts. Here are a few skincare masks (and a blemish treatment) I found in B&M with each product priced under £4.00!

Face Facts skincare masks (and blemish treatment) in B&M!
    Hydrogel Eye Masks

Eye masks are a great and simple way to immediately improve the look of the under eye area. This pack contains 4 treatments (not too sure whether that’s 4 pairs of masks or 4 under eye masks in total). Designed to freshen tired looking eyes, brighten and hydrate the under eye area. £1.99.

    Hydro-gel Eye Masks
    Plumping Sheet Mask

This pack contains three sheet masks. They’re designed to hydrate, help to soften the look of lines and wrinkles making skin look softer and plumper. £3.99.

    Plumping Sheet Mask
    Flight Refresh Face Mask

Flight Refresh Face Mask is supposed to have the same effects as the Plumping Sheet Masks, but also to help the tone of the skin even out. Overall, giving the skin a fresher look. £1.99.

    Flight Refresh Face Mask
    Blemish Control Micro-Dart Patches

These patches help to target blemishes/spots directly, thanks to tiny micro needles that go into them. Containing hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid and tea tree oil, these ingredients help to treat, calm and heal blemishes. £2.99.

    Blemish Control Patches
    Anymore products?

There are LOADS more skincare products from Face Facts sat on the shelves of B&M! Too many for me to mention. But they aren’t hard to spot thanks to their colourful packaging and low price points.

    Thoughts?

I love how affordable Face Facts products are. Also, the fact there’s so many products available means choice which is great. These particular products seem more aimed at younger skin and don’t give off hard working formulations, or serious skincare to me. Personally, I wouldn’t buy any of these because each product. My skin needs something more and something less, include no fragrance. These products I wouldn’t go for if I had problematic, aged or sensitive skin. But if under the age of 25 and wanted a pamper on a budget, why not?
