My teenagers have now surpassed me when it comes to their fragrance collection. At one point my daughter was using mine, now I ‘borrow’ hers. One of her fragrances that I’ve been using is Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth Caramel Dream Eau de Parfum. So what is it like?

Sabrina Carpenter?
A popular singer and actress. That’s all I know!
Packaging
The actual fragrance itself comes in the form of what I can only describe as shaped like a bar of chocolate! It’s flat, but chunky, with the top looking like raised segments. Pull off the the top and you will find the spray dispenser to use. Quite lightweight, caramel-esq in colour and somehow fun to hold. This fragrance comes boxed. The box is designed to look like a bar of chocolate partially opened. Fun packaging and very cute.

Size & price
My daughter’s Caramel Dream EDP is 30ml, which retails for £25.00. There are other sizes available at different price points.
How does this smell?
I don’t know whether I would call this caramel in scent, more vanilla based with florals and musk ,which then ends with a caramel smell to it. Yes, its sweet, but not too much. The added floral doesn’t make this fragrance too warming or bakery based. So if you’re a seasonal scent wearer, you won’t wait to use this just during cooler seasons and great to use all year round.

How does it perform?
Firstly, it’s important to mention I rarely apply fragrance to my skin unless its a fragrance balm or oil. If it’s a spray formulation, I always apply on my clothes. When applying on my clothes, I’m quite generous with how much I spray on. I want to SMELL a fragrance. And I find a few spritz of this gives immediate fragrance but lessens very quickly. So applying more suits my nose better. Does this last after a few hours? When applied in the morning and then finishing work mid day, this is so light in scent I can just about smell it. Despite experiencing warmer weather in the UK, this hasn’t helped this fragrance be more stronger. Strength starts off as a medium and goes downhill, on clothing quite quickly.

Recommended?
Packaging is good. Great look wise to give as a gift to yourself or to others. The scent itself is nice, but…..it didn’t wow me. I’ve smelt better. So this isn’t the best I’ve used in the scent family it comes from. The strength and longevity for me is what I would expect from a body mist or spray, not an eau de parfum fragrance. As for this being a celebrity fragrance? That does nothing to sway me but may others. Would I buy this for myself? No, for the reasons stated. Would I buy this for someone else? Possibly. If I knew they loved their bakery style scents and this was on sale for some crazy low price, then purchasing Sabrina Carpenter’s Caramel Dream EDP might happen!
