I’ve said this before and I will say this again…fragrance is subjective and the price you pay can be as cheap as you like or as expensive as you like or can afford. Body mists are naturally designed to be the most affordable type of fragrance, although they can still be quite expensive depending on the brand. One budget friendly body mist that has been circulating on the high street for the last few years is from Glow. Glow’s Toasted Macadamia & White Chocolate Body Mist is one I bought recently from Home Bargains. So, what is it like?

Packaging
Typical, plastic bottle, white cap, spray top lid but the bottle itself is tan in colour (which matches the scent description). All the text on the bottle is white. It doesn’t look as if it’s printed well because its faded, not sharp and crisp. Unfortunately, it makes the bottle look very cheap. Personally I think the Glow perfume mists look ok but could look so much better and much more appealing.
How this smells
When I’m hit with this perfume mist, the first thing I smell is a nuttiness. It’s not unpleasant, it’s just very unusual. I wasn’t sure if I liked it. Then it turned into a caramel-esq type scent, sweet, almost edible, then vanilla. Once this perfume mist had been sprayed for a whole minute it all came together. With an almost hint of floral behind it (think white, light, type of floral), this combination is actually really good and smells amazing.

Strength & longevity
I’m going to be honest with this (as I always am). Strength wise this is light to medium (more light). But for the level of strength I want I really apply this like the world is ending! I would love this if it was stronger but it’s not, so I bathe in it. Longevity is probably no different to similar products on the market. It could definitely do with lasting longer. The scent doesn’t disappear, it lingers. It’s there for the short term e.g an hour or so, but does need regular application to make sure it’s noticeable.
Size & price
250ml size for 99p!

Recommended?
There’s two things I like about the packaging. The colour of the bottle and the the chunky spray top dispenser. Other than that, packaging looks cheap. But for the actual fragrance, which I ADORE, and the price, I will let it slide! I love how this smells. It’s slightly different compared to others I’ve smelt before because of the initial nuttiness, and I find that really appealing now. When I apply this (onto clothes not on skin), I enjoy it, I breathe it in with a smile. Its a great scent, could be stronger and last longer. But for 99p? I will use as unsparingly as humanly possible! So, if you’re like me and you love your vanilla type scents, sweet, caramel/toffee, those types of smells, you will love this! 100% recommended at a fantastic price!
