Farmfoods. If you’re lucky to have one close to where you live or work, I would definitely recommend a visit. Not only is it a good store to pick up great priced food items but as I’ve discovered personal care items as well. My local Farmfoods doesn’t have a massive range of body, skincare or fragrance products available but I found something that caught my eye recently. I spotted Impulse body mists for 89p in the fragrances Petal Pop and Tropic Twist. So what are they like?

Packaging
Nothing ground breaking but these body mists come in the usual plastic bottle with a spray top to dispense. Clear, with a colourful label on the front. Quite youthful in look and not taking itself too serious.

Size
Both of these body mists are 100ml. This is probably the perfect size to carry around, whether that’s in a school blazer, hand bag or even coat pocket.
Fragrances
Petal Pop smells like it’s name suggests. It’s very floral and quite sweet. Feminine, and almost perfume like so a good blend of different floral notes. Tropic Twist is a mix of tropical fruity scents, such as coconut, with some citrus thrown in. Fruity, lively and fun.

Strength & Longevity
I’ve used both Petal Pop and Tropic Twist. As usual I spray fragrances onto my clothes and not skin. I found the strength was quite light, so I applied a lot to get the desired hit of fragrance. The longevity wasn’t the best. I could barely smell it an hour after use. Its important to mention that I am dealing with the joys of hay fever at the moment. How I find the performance of these body mists maybe different when pollen isn’t trying to kill me.

Recommended?
Decent sizes, nice scents, fun packaging. But the strength and longevity of these Impulse body mists for me wasn’t great. For how much these cost, I didn’t feel the need to skimp on using so much. In fact I was almost justified. These could be stronger thanks to hay fever, but purely for the price alone I would say give this a go regardless. The worst that could happen is a waste of 89p!
