This is the time of year where people are thinking about their holidays. Many of us have something planned with lots of things on our to pack list. So what do you do in regards to skincare? Buy travel sizes? Take full size products and be restricted where they can be packed e.g when flying? Travel sizes are expensive for what you get. Full sizes can be too big and bulky. But decanting products you already have and is not only cost effective and easy to do, but there’s so many nice bottles and jars they can be placed in that aren’t expensive. Here are a few I found in my local ASDA store:

Skincare Pump Jar
You can put your favourite skincare product in this jar knowing it’s housed in a hygienic, practical and easy to use way. Perfect for face creams or facial products that you want to keep away from being exposed to air and also don’t want to keep putting fingers in a jar. £3.00.

3 Refillable Travel Bottles
These types of bottles are available everywhere. But the pastel colours these bottles come in make them really cute to look at. They appear clear, screw top flip lid so easy to put product in and use when taking out. £2.00.

2 Spray Travel Bottles
Spray bottles are handy to use for toners, body or facial oils and even just water! It’s a very versatile item and possibly not used enough during travel. Clear and nicely tinted in soft pretty colours. £2.00.

3 Refillable Travel Pouches
Each one holds 90ml and these remind me in look of yoghurt pouches. The way these are shaped and designed means they can be quite flat when packed. Or even rolled up if partly filled. You can write what product is in it on the front as its not a clear pouch so you won’t see what’s in it. £2.00.

4 Stackable Travel Containers
This set contains 4 different sized screw topped pots. Clear and white in colour but each has a different coloured lid. I like the fact these come in different sizes. You won’t need the same amount of eye product as you would with a moisturiser. And don’t forget these are stackable. I’m assuming stackable in the sense of putting them into each other. A great space saving idea when not in use. £2.00.

Thoughts?
There were more travel essentials available in ASDA but these grabbed my attention straight away. Great variety of useful containers which literally can carry any skin or body care product. All meet the right requirements for hand luggage allowance if travelling via plane. And some of these you don’t see everywhere, like the pump jar or the pouches. Not only do they look nice, but priced affordable too. Between £2 and £3.00 each and at the time of writing this post are on a 3 for 2 promotion!
Brilliant budget start to the holidays!
