How important is body care? Like skincare, it’s very much routine based and tends to be a repetitive ritual for most people. I could be better with mine. I’m not consistent with everything body care/product related e.g body scrubs, but one thing I ALWAYS do is use some form of body lotion or moisturiser twice a day, morning and night. So I had to buy Nuage’s Oatmeal Body Spray Oil from Home Bargains, to see what it was like as a body moisturiser lover. So why did I buy it, what is it like and how does it perform?

Why did I buy this?
I’m a texture girl. I love products, especially for the body, which are different in texture compared to the usual body lotion. The ingredients attracted me, especially oatmeal as I’m a massive fan of products containing this. The fact this is fragrance free and the ingredients list is quite short I find very appealing. And the price for this is cheap!
What is this?
This is a body moisturiser in the form of a body oil. Containing soya bean, jojoba oil, oat extract and Vitamin’s C and E oil. Created to be moisturising but not heavy on the skin and easy and quick to absorb.
Packaging
100ml of oil comes in a small, clear, plastic spray top bottle. The bottle comes housed in a cardboard box. If you purchase and use products with oatmeal in it, you will find how they are packaged is very neutral, beige, very natural and basic in look. This is very much the same aesthetics.

Price
£1.49 for 100ml.
How to use
Like any body moisturiser, apply to the skin if and when needed. Spray the amount of product onto the skin you need and massage into it.
In use
First problem I had was getting the top off to use this! 5 minutes it took. The lid felt glued on but eventually I got it off. I tried spraying this directly onto my body first, but found I preferred spraying this into my hands and rubbing it into my skin. The oil was easy to apply, thin enough to cover and not thick enough to be hard work. I didn’t need to use too much, and found my skin in look and feel felt moisturised. I expected my skin to look greasy but it didn’t, it had a light glisten to it. Light weight as promised on the packaging and did a good job.

Recommended?
If you love body moisturisers, not afraid of using different textures/consistencies and you want something that contains decent moisturising ingredients, then get this! It does what it’s designed to do, perfect for those who don’t or can’t have fragrance in their products and this is incredibly affordable!
