I can appreciate good packaging and marketing of skin and fragrance products. But especially with skincare, I want less gimmick and more serious. I can be swayed for a few seconds if something looks adorable. But that initial draw doesn’t last long. Recently though, I couldn’t help think how cute these Care Bears products were in Home Bargains. So what products did I find?
Hair & body glitter mists
Four fragrances available in Vanilla, Bubble Gum, Very Berry and Tropical. Each one comes in a small and handy clear dispenser matching colour wise the Care Bear illustrated on it. The glitter can clearly be seen in the fragrance which is fun, and the dispenser has a key chain attachment meaning it can be placed on something like a bag. £1.99 each.
Under eye patches
Containing 3 pairs of under eye patches, these are designed to help relieve the look of tired eyes, dark circles and lines. I’m guessing these are patterned in some way, which would make these look cute. 99p.
Blemish patches
24 blemish patches, each one brightly coloured and shaped as either a Care Bear face or a symbol e.g rainbow, love heart etc. Containing salicylic acid and tea tree, which can help with blemishes. 99p.
So, how cute are these? Would I buy any of these for myself? No! I’m a woman of a certain age, this wouldn’t be a good look for me. I think these are going to be attractive to a certain group of people whether that’s age or someone who likes Care Bears or cute plush like looking things in genera. And with these being so affordable, why not?
