Having celebrity names plastered on products is still a lucrative partnership for all involved. But what do consumers get? A piece of their favourite celebrity and hopefully a good product as well. Doesn’t always happen. History proves not all customers are bothered about quality but more the association of the singer/actor or influencer. Celebrities don’t really sway me into purchasing things. Its more reviews about the quality of a product and what its like that does. But I did splash out on Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth Body Mist to see what it was like. Did it do her brand proud or did it disappoint?

Why did I buy this?
Honestly? I’m just about aware who Sabrina Carpenter is. An actress and a singer? I don’t have much interest in her as a person or as a performer. But I’ve read some positive reviews online in regards to her body mists. The range of fragrances she has scent wise are the type of scents I would want to wear. And to make it that much sweeter, this body mist was on offer so I didn’t purchase at full price. If I remember correctly, I bought an eau de parfum for my daughter at the same time because I thought she would like it, and I decided to treat myself too!
Packaging
This is housed in a typical tall, cylinder shaped spray topped plastic bottle. It’s clear with a pretty pastel pink label covering the majority of it. It looks appealing and matches the overall branding of the fragrances perfectly.

Fragrance
This smells to me like a mix of light florals and vanilla. The actual fragrance description says this is a blend of candied ginger, chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla and chantilly cream. My nose doesn’t get the ginger. The others could be there but not so obvious where you think…oh that’s marshmallow! But fragrance wise this does smell really nice. Not sickly and overall a feminine, pretty, sweet scent that isn’t doesn’t scream obvious bakery.
Strength & longevity
This isn’t a strong scent. It’s light and to make it more medium I find myself having to spray this a lot. Longevity wise I find this to be poor. It doesn’t stick around. This body mist disappears very quickly and after a few hours I forget I even applied it. * Just a note, this was applied onto clothing not to skin.

Price & size
Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth Body Mist retails for around £15.00 but regularly can be found on promotion from a variety of different stores on the high street and online. The size of this is 236ml.
Recommended?
Considering how much this cost it’s a no from me! Nice scent, although I’ve used similar smelling fragrances before so this doesn’t stand out. Size is good. But for me the longevity of it is poor. The lightness I could deal with if the scent was still there but it just doesn’t last. Important to mention again, this is when applied to clothing. How this performs on skin could be different, but on clothing not great. So light fragrance, quick fade means a very expensive short term fragrance product. I’ve bought and used much cheaper body mists that performed better, so would give this a miss!
