Teenagers. Don’t you just love them? They’re more expensive than any other aged human on the planet! For his 17th birthday, my son asked for a fragrance. Did he need anymore fragrances? No, he literally has a shop’s worth of fragrances! But for some reason he asked for Khadlaj’s Island, and of course I bought it! So, what is it like, where did I buy it from and how much did it cost?
Packaging
The fragrance itself comes in a beautiful green glass bottle with a gold lid. Quite opulent in look, with tiny raised circles on the front and back giving it an eye catching appearance. The bottle comes boxed, mirroring the green colour and gold detailing with an area of cream on the front, breaking up the colours.
How does this smell?
This is a very clean, fresh almost sea like scent. There’s a woodiness to this which gives it an obvious masculine feel to it. Very subtle fruity notes and a creaminess of vanilla. This could be worn any season, night or day, for any occasion and for guys of any ages.
How much did this cost?
When I bought this, including a discount code from the seller, it was around £22/3 which was a good price. But currently available from a few online retailers for around £30.00.
My son’s thoughts?
Well he’s wearing it everyday! If he didn’t like it he wouldn’t wear it and I can SMELL it on him daily. So clearly this is a winner. And from what I can smell and see, thisis a strong, good quality fragrance is suitable for any age and perfect for gift giving.
