Superdrug’s Fruity body mists. Oh, how I’ve missed you! I’m a massive fan of these because they’re the perfect size, come in a variety of different fragrances and are regularly on a price promotion. But I don’t visit Superdrug regularly. I popped into my local store last week as I needed to buy some hair products, and while there it was the perfect opportunity to see what Fruity body mists they had available. So what did they have?
Caramel & Pistachio
From this killer combo I expect a bakery style scent. Slightly sugary but in a warm, mouth watering way with a slight nuttiness to it. I find fragrances like this always have vanilla in them somewhere, which I suspect this does, which will make it a favourite for many.
Pear Crumble
I had a cheeky sniff of this. It does remind me of a crumble smell wise because of the mix of fruity notes and slight buttery, pastry. Comforting and wholesome.
Candy Floss
The only way I can describe how Candy Floss smells is it reminds me of the sweets pear drops. Sugary, pears, vanilla with a little hint of strawberry. This is THAT scent if you like your sweetie inspired fragrances. A must to try out!
Sticky Toffee
This was the one that intrigued me the most after seeing it pop up on social media. I tried it in store and immediately bought it! It literally smells like treacle but with a twist. Black treacle, sweet, dark but this has a hint of floral in the background to me. Not one everyone will like but personally I love it.
Zesty Lemon
Fizzy, citrus, energising lemon. Very different to the other fragrances and what I would call a typical summer scent. So if you wanted summer this is summer!
Tropical Punch
I expect a fruit bowl mixed with tropical fruity scents that are uplifting, berry and citrus based. Perfect fragrance to wear during warmer weather. And probably ideal for more day time wearing too.
Thoughts?
I still love them! In fact, I love these even more than before! So much so I bought 2 of them (Sticky Toffee and Candy Floss). Great variety of fragrances which are very different to each other. I would say these, besides Zesty Lemon and Tropical Punch, are more bakery based than fruit. So if you’re not a fan of sweeter scents these might not be for you. But if you do, you’re in for a treat, these are gorgeous! Did I mention affordable as well? Usual rrp is £3.49 but regularly half price of on a BOGOF!
