These days it doesn’t take much to confuse me. I’m struggling to string a few words together and remember the smallest of details (the joys of getting older as a woman!). But when I visited my local Boots store to buy some much needed bath and shower items, a product I found stumped me. Full Body Cleansing Spray by Luna. I picked it up thinking it was a fragrance mist, clearly it wasn’t. But what actually IS IT?
Full body what?
This is a product that you can use instead of traditional showering or bathing. From the packaging, it’s a quick fix and easy way to freshen yourself up in situations where either you haven’t had chance to bathe or can’t. Or, if you simply don’t feel as clean and fresh as you wanted, this is a simple way to do that.
How it comes, how to use & what it does
This product is housed in a small, flat spray bottle. This is released as a mist, and can be sprayed on the under arm area, chest, even mentions sensitive bits on the packaging but I will stop right there! It’s made up of vitamins, thermal water, prebiotics, aloe vera and fragrance. So this product should be refreshing on the skin, cooling and smell nice.
When would you use this?
My first thought would be festivals. It’s not the life for me but I can imagine it getting quite grubby with lack of facilities and this might help. If you’re travelling, gym, general cleaning of the hands needed etc. Also if stuck in hospital or poorly at home, and physical washing is difficult or impossible.
How to use
You can either spray this onto skin or tissue and use as a wipe.

I found 4. Pomelo & Patchouli, Cooling Water Lily & Fresh Citrus, Fresh Cotton and Jasmine & Ylang Ylang.

These were £8.00 in Boots. At time of writing this post there was a special promotion of £5.00 off when buying 2. .
Thoughts?
I understand the idea. Some people will find this useful but it won’t be for everyone. Nicely packaged in a practical way, good mix of fragrances available and should be easy to use. Price…it’s not a product you can compare similar items to and say it’s fair or expensive. But for a one off purchase it isn’t too bad. Would I buy and use this? No. Not for me. But I think a younger more go getting group of people would.
