It’s very hard for anyone to walk into a Home Bargains store and come out empty handed. Great prices of branded products really doesn’t help. My weakness, if you haven’t guessed, is skin and body care products. You will always find me on THAT aisle, checking products out, reading ingredients list and then checking out the price. A few products jumped out at me this week that could be good buys, all under £5.00 each. So, what did I find?
Sunkissed Pumpkin Spice Latte Shower Foam
The Sunkissed shower foams are a regular item in Home Bargains, and other stores on the high street. But it’s that time of year where everything and anything is now pumpkin scented ready for autumn. And this is no exception. Pumpkin Spice Latte should be slightly creamy, spicy and warming, ready to use during this cooler and darker season. £2.49 for 250ml.
Sunkissed Whipped Strawberry Butter Body Cream
The saying you eat with your eyes can be similar to body products. I looked at this body cream and I wanted to dive into it as its so inviting! Strawberry scented, hydrating, nicely packaged and would be great for a fan of body products and fruity scents. £2.99.
Dermasil Oatmeal Toner
Oatmeal is nourishing to the skin, calming and helps inflammation. Seeing this toner made me hope this was a gentle and soothing product for possible problematic skin that needed extra TLC. Also being fragrance free was a massive bonus. I might have to buy this! £1.29 for 118ml.
Dermsil Exfoliating Facial Scrub
Like the toner, this is fragrance free and also doesn’t contain any parabens or dyes. What it does contain, as its a physical scrub, is shell powder. Physical scrubs have been shown can cause damage to the skin and many brands focus now on chemical scrubs which can be more gentle. But although quite old fashioned, there are still some people who love a physical exfoliation, and this is an affordable one at £1.29 for 145ml.
Burt’s Bees Even Tone Liquid Exfoliant
If a physical exfoliant isn’t for you, maybe Burt’s Bees Even Tone Liquid Exfoliant might be. Helps to even out skin tone, improve the look of dark spots, blemish marks, this product should be a gentle but effective exfoliant containing natural ingredients. £3.49 for 236ml.
