Another month disappearing quicker than a car chase in the Fast & Furious franchise! We are now in the 7th month of the year. Wow and HOW? This the perfect opportunity for me to go over the products I used in the month of June, and remind myself what I loved, disliked or felt indifferent.
Scentsy’s Hibiscus Pineapple Sugar Scrub
I don’t use this all the time but when I do it reminds me how much I love this product! It smells amazing, enjoyable to use and leaves my skin feeling AMAZING! This is definitely one of my favourite body scrubs of ALL TIME! Well done Scentsy!
Aldi’s Lacura Sugared Berries Bath Bomb
Fun and colourful packaging, look and size wise ok but Aldi’s Lacura Sugarered Berries Bath Bomb just didn’t quite pack a punch fragrance wise for me, so wasn’t on my repurchase list. I have noticed this is down from £1.99 to £1.49 in my local store, but even that won’t tempt me to buy it again.
Glow’s Candles in Fairy Laundry & Magical Dreams Fragrances
I’m a massive fan of Glow’s wax melts and wax melt snap bars. I was incredibly lucky to receive two products from their new candle range. Fragranced in Fairy Laundry and Magical Dreams, these beautiful scented candles were a joy to use and hope they will be available in a bigger size!
Aldi’s Lacura Oh So Sleepy Box Under £1.00!
These were a great find in my local store at £1.00 for a boxed set of TWO bath bombs! Good quality and great price. I enjoyed these bath bombs from Aldi much more than the previous one I tried (Sugared Berries). Great for personal use and for gifting.
The Body Shop’s Carrot Wash Energising Face Cleanser
Bright orange in colour, smells like plants, I wasn’t a fan of The Body Shop’s Carrot Wash Energising Face Cleanser. I’ve used nicer and more effective cleansers that have been more affordable than this one. Not something I will be buying for myself or for others.
The Inkey List’s Vitamin B, C & E Moisturizer
My first product from The Inkey List. An interesting textured moisturizer which is good on the face and brilliant on the pocket too. A good product to use when layered with other skincare products. This is designed for the normal skin type with no real issues or problems.
Honest’s Gently Nourishing Shampoo + Body Wash
A great find for 99p in Home Bargains (it costs much more than this usually). But I found Honest’s Gently Nourishing Shampoo+Body Wash an ‘ok’ product that did the job. I’ve used nicer body washes on myself and my daughter and I probably won’t buy this again.
Aldi’s Hotel Collection No 4 Freesia & Pear Wax Melts
Just when I thought I couldn’t love Aldi products more I tried one of their wax melts that was gifted to me. Great packaging, lovely scent and I now need to try more of the fragrances! Only £1.49!
That’s my June round up done. Out of all the products I’ve tried my favourite would have to be Scentsy’s Hibiscus Pineapple Sugar Scrub. It’s absolute perfection!
