Shower foams are a popular product to use on the body. At first this was made more popular by brands like Sundae. But their shower foams cost up to £13, so cue dupes created and pushed out by other brands at a quarter of that price. Aldi, not surprisingly, have their own shower foams available at a more budget friendly price pont. So, what’s available?

Fragrances
I’ve found three fragrances available in my local store. Eucalyptus & Mint, Magnolia & Almond and Lotus Flower & Rice Extract.
Eucalyptus & Mint seems to be the perfect scent for those who want something fresh, minty, cooling and invigorating. I imagine this is a good one for the guys to use, in the morning or after gym or during warmer, more humid seasons e.g summer.
Magnolia & Almond. Lightly floral, feminine with a warming bakery undertone to it, is what this may smell like.
Lotus Flower & Rice Extract. Could this possibly be a subtle floral scent with oriental-esq tones to it?

Packaging
Each shower foam comes in a metal canister. To dispense the top needs to be pushed down to release. Each are coloured differently e.g blue, pink and red, which seems to go well with the fragrances. They look very basic, but quite spa like which I’m guessing is the look they were after.

Price
£1.99 for 200ml.
Availability
A common problem I have with skin or body care products in Aldi is availability. Unless it’s part of an everyday range, stock levels vary. I’ve seen the shower foams in store for a couple of months, but only recently all three versions. Not sure if this will disappear soon, but I found these amongst the shower gels and bath products rather than in their middle aisles.

Thoughts?
On appearance, fragrances available, cost and the product itself, I like them! Nicely packaged, fragrances sound appealing and would be liked by many and the cost is affordable. If you like using shower foams, during your next trip to Aldi, check these out!
