Thanks to lots of skincare brands entering the market over the years, its a proven fact that good quality skincare doesn’t have to be expensive. You can pick up a variety of different products at budget friendly prices with thought and time being placed into ingredients and how they work. I found a brand of skincare products in my local ASDA store called Glow Theory. The products available could give a solid skincare routine for anyone purchasing the range. So what did I find?
Firstly, Glow Theory?
Never heard of them. This brand has been launched by ASDA and is inspired by K Beauty skincare, which has taken the world by storm! Korean skincare focuses on a range of ingredients and textures which provides effective results but with gentle formulas.
Ingredients included
Some of the ingredients you can find in these products are:
Jojoba oil – moisturises and soothing.
Niacinamide – helps with hydration, provides barrier support and helps with dullness.
Rice protein – hydrates, protects and brightens the skin.
Melt The Day Away Cleansing Balm
A moisturising cleanser that should take everything off the skin. Dirt, grime, make-up or sun cream, this should be done easily with this because of its texture. Cleansing balms shouldn’t strip the skin of it’s natural oils, so this should be a gentle and soothing cleanser. 50g.
Glazed Milk Cleanser
Glazed Milk Cleanser should be a soothing, light weight cleanser that will leave the skin feeling fresh and clean. Great for those who don’t like heavy textures on the skin.
Pore Clarifying Pads
Easy and quick to use facial pads designed to brighten and smooth the skin. This needs to be used after cleansing and left on the skin for between 15-20 minutes to get the full effect on the skin. Contains 60 pads.
Other products available
Cleanser Foam, Face Serum, Peptide Lip Treatment, Hydra Cream and Radiance Mask. These are products that weren’t available in my local ASDA, but available online and I’m sure will be stocked in my local at some point.
Sizes & prices
Sizes are standard for the type of products these are, Cleansing balm 50ml, moisturiser 100ml etc. Prices are £5 each in store (my differ in the future and online).
Thoughts?
Good range of products, when available! This is nearly a full daily skincare routine which is great if you wanted the full range or cherry pick one or two items. Packaging is really nice. There’s something very appealing about how these are presented and they don’t look like they’re £5 each. And of course price point, which I think isn’t expensive and budget friendly. Would I buy any of these products myself? I would LOVE to try them but these include fragrance which I try to avoid on my face.
